During packaging packers visually inspect product for defects and remove defective products from the line. Finished cartons are packed into corrugated master cases, labeled, and palletized per specification. Summary of essential job functions --- Knowledge of product codes and descriptions including case pack configurations. --- Visually inspect meat for defects in size or quality and removing defective product from
the line. --- Pack off finished cases on to pallets in proper tie and high configuration. --- Keep work area clean and tidy during production. --- At end of shift perform machine wipe down and cover motors and sensors with protective plastic.
