Job Description: Responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing lift trucks and other equipment. This position reports to the Shop Foreman, Service Manager or Operations Manager.
Pre-employment physical and drug screen required. Service Technician / Mechanic Primary Responsibilities: Lift Truck and Equipment Repair- Communicate daily with Shop Foreman to determine work schedule. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair lift trucks and other equipment. Perform Planned Maintenance inspections. Technical repair knowledge is necessary. Perform safety and operational
tests. Confer with foreman and review recommended repairs. Estimate or quote repair costs. Place parts orders and complete repair paperwork. Service Technician / Mechanic Daily Tasks: Perform pre-delivery inspections Prepare lift trucks and other equipment for shipping and receiving, as needed.
Complete all training as required. Service Technician / Mechanic Physical Requirements: Basic Computer skills Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and vehicles/service vans. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent Requires prior related experience Valid driver license is required.
