JOB BRIEF We are seeking an experienced professional to provide EPIC software training and support to our staff at all of our growing list of clinic locations in Northern California. Must be experienced with EPIC's features for front office, charting, billing, reports, as well as interfaces with other systems (i. e. X-Ray, appointment reminder texting, Dragon or other dictation, charting, templates, CPT/HCPCS codes and code sets, building our report libraries, etc. ). As a member

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary project manager for our EPIC software implementation. Answer questions from staff members regarding how to use EPIC to get their jobs done efficiently. Attend meetings with staff as needed Prepare summaries and " How To" documents for staff as needed Assist in creating our library of EPIC " How To's" and videos for new staff to get trained in EPIC in the shortest time possible Assist other team members with inquiries in EPIC regarding coding, documentation, denials and billing Follow all written policies, procedures, and protocols of the clinic, hospitals, surgery centers, etc.

POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Training and Community Education Manager, the Training & Community Educator position is responsible for developing and implementing the work of The Center's Training Institute program dedicated to increasing the capacity of the region's
ability to serve lesbian, gay, biinteractionual, transgender, queer, and two-spirit (LGBTQ2S+) individuals who are at-risk for or experiencing homelessness as the intended recipients of our mental health awareness training (MHAT).
The responsibilities include developing and facilitating training opportunities for service providers working with people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate an in-person, virtual, and blended evidence-based mental health and awareness training (MHAT) to include recognizing the signs and symptoms of mental illness and identifying resources available in the LGBTQ community for individuals with a mental illness and other relevant resources.
Increase ability to recognize mental illness signs and symptoms, provide safe and affirming services, and knowledge of LGBTQ people and associated health disparities. Cultivate LGBTQ-focused training to develop LGBTQ terminology, definitions, pronouns, coming out experiences, and specialized topics such as intersectional identities, Transgender and Nonbinary Gender identities, and providing affirming care for LGBTQ communities. Track referrals and resources from partner agencies to link LGBTQ people to safe, affirming, and competent mental health services and housing resources in San Diego County Cultivate partnerships and work with organizations, service providers, and community experts to develop and continuously improve training and educational materials.
Develop and facilitate other LGBTQ-related curricula and training to support all aspects of the Training Institute. Required Qualifications: Professional Experience : 2 years of experience in curriculum design, training, facilitation, and background experience in mental health. Professional Skills: Must demonstrate patience, and compassion, with i ndividuals who are at risk for or experiencing homelessness, mental health illness, harm reduction, and LGBTQ communities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities. You will assist in all aspects of training delivery at the regional Academy, including workshop and vehicle set-up, materials preparation, classroom preparedness, and communications with student technicians. This role is focused on building skills to be able to deliver course material as a technical trainer in the future. Day to Day Responsibilities: Prepare workshops and
vehicles for experiential learning. Assist lead technical trainer in the delivery of training workshops, with the goal of improving diagnosis and repair competency of retail technicians.
Ensure the training classrooms, workshops, tools, student guides, literature, and vehicles are properly maintained and prepared for classes. Re-set classrooms after class completions. Ensure set-up for virtual classes is complete and assist learners with troubleshooting. Assist with maintaining attendee training records in learning portal. Perform light to medium lifting requirements in workshop. Ability to travel on occasion, if required. Ad hoc technical training projects as assigned by the lead technical trainer.
Enhance your technical instructional skills by gaining technical knowledge of OEM’s products, vehicle systems, and diagnostic technology. Maintain a professional relationship with JLRNA employees and supplier personnel. Maintain and use equipment in the workshop to operational standard.
