of Structural Biology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a Senior Scientist to lead cryo-EM/cryo-ET focused projects focusing on understanding how naturally occurring and engineered macromolecular systems modify and organize the genome. The Senior Scientist will work in collaboration with the cryo-EM center and the volume EM center to correlate/integrate volumetric EM data with FIB-milling workflows.

The Kellogg lab uses cutting edge Cryo-EM to investigate the molecular basis of genome modification and higher order architecture. Maintaining a portfolio of ambitious projects aimed at furthering our fundamental understanding of the genome and how this is connected to biological

Responsibilities: The primary day to day responsibilities will be focused on the design and execution of research aimed at understanding genome organization and higher order architecture, relying on single-particle cryo-EM and cryo-ET as his/her central research tool.

Contribute to the scientific training and professional development of postdocs, graduate students, and technicians in the Kellogg lab. Remain up to date with current technology and be constantly thinking about how to apply new innovations to achieve their research goals. Operate independently from planning experimentation to manuscript preparation.

Communicate project plans, progress, and issues in a timely manner to Dr. Kellogg and the team.
