Job Summary: The First Assistant Superintendent is responsible for golf course maintenance operations and staff under the leadership of the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the healthy growth of
the golf course and clubhouse grounds, grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials. The duties include backssing and providing guidance and expertise to maintain rigorous industry and environmental standards in turf quality, including the use of specialized knowledge in various fields of agronomy and horticulture.
Day-to-Day: Train and Implement Procedures for Golf Course Maintenance Staff Perform Chemical and Fertilizer applications Daily water management of Practices Greens, Tees, and Fairways Daily turf evaluation for wear, disease, moisture, cut quality, growth rate, etc. Ensure all company policies, standards of operations, manuals, standards of conduct, safety rules,
and policies against harassment are strictly followed by all staff and members/guests (including prompt intervention, investigation, and documentation) Determine appropriate personnel action (counseling, written warnings, suspension, or termination) in the event of performance, attendance problems, or violations of company policies; coordinate with Human Resources, Legal, and Senior Management as necessary Assign and develop work-efficient schedules to meet the staffing needs of Golf Operations and, as warranted, recruit and hire staff to provide a superior level of Member services Effective communication with staff, members, and Senior Management About You: 2-3 years experience in Golf Course Maintenance Min 2-year College Agronomy Degree Pesticide Applicators License Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and recordkeeping as required by local, state, and federal laws A diplomatic team player can foster relationships with Members, Employees, and guests Bilingual (English - Spanish) communication ability preferred Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 salary range commensurate with experience; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k (no match); Club Perks!

Job Summary: The Director of Racquet Sports is responsible for all Club Racquet sports activity programming, including developing and promoting tennis, pickleball, and squash programs for all age groups.
The Director of Racquet Sports will organize tennis clinics and private lessons that encourage participation in the Club's racquet activities and promote tennis memberships to all potential prospects.
Act as the Club's Racquet Ambassador to enhance the value of the Club. The Director is responsible for the supervision of the racquet sports staff. Day-to-Day: Direct and manage the racquet sports department to ensure financial performance meets budget requirements while achieving the Club's expense objectives, revenue, and profit objectives. Drive the selection, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and educating of all racquet sports personnel in a manner that reinforces the Club's values and
philosophies, and ensures the operation of the department meets company standards while providing an environment focused on excellent delivery of the company's service culture (Three Steps) to exceed Member/Guest expectations.
Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last-minute requests as needed. Organize, schedule, administer, and promote member social events, leagues, round robins, drop-ins, ladders, tournaments, lessons, and all other tennis events, as applicable, that appeal to the membership to motivate health and wellness. Develop and promote tennis clinics, private lessons, and adult, junior, and senior programs.
Communicate with the Member Experience Team to market tennis events and specials. Conduct new Member tennis orientation(s) into the facility and programs available. Ensure courts and facilities are maintained in a professional and aesthetically satisfactory manner and ensure that the environment is safe for all those who use the facility. About You: Minimum of 3 years as a Tennis Professional. Director-level experience preferred. USPTA certification is required with a minimum playing ability of 4.5+. Possess financial management experience. Required tennis instruction training.
Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring that others are acting safely. High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
