Able to stand for long periods of time At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Med Techs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their

normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents.

As part of a team-oriented workplace, Med Techs participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Med Tech can include: Build and maintain close relationships with residents Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or other application Administers prescribed medication and maintains related records under the supervision of a licensed nurse Gives direct care to residents, such as bathing, grooming and dressing Assist in recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output, as directed Assist residents with meals and snacks Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary Housekeeping duties as necessary Keeps workspaces and supplies organized and ready for service Requirements: Current MA license in applicable state as well as CPR certification
