ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develop and maintain a sales and strategy forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in territory for maximum productivity and sales growth utilizing all available resources.
Allocate 80% of your time for customer interactions, site visits, and actively pursuing sales. Establish and maintain customer relationships with the intent to grow profitable sales. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED/Hi Set and; Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field with three years of relevant sales and industry experience; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, abilities listed below and other characteristics to perform the duties of the position. Fully embrace the use of Sales Force CRM and utilize it to its fullest. Keeping all customer information and
interactions up to date. Responsible for generating leads, closing new customers, and proving a high level of account management for new and existing customers.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be self-motivated with a successful track record and one who understands the importance of long-term customer relationships. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Must have a clean driving record. Attend industry tradeshows. Ability to achieve the company's sales goals. Proficient on the internet/web as well as Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, Excel). Follow and support all company policies, including working and driving in a safe and ethical manner. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques are required. WORK ENVIRONMENT The performance of this position represents a typical office environment but occasionally requires exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel toe or composite toe shoes.
This is a remote position with approx. 75% travel required. Current territory includes northern California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
