Reporting Relationship: The DC Power Sales Manager reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Prospect new leads and new business relationships with Utility, Telecom and Data Center End-users, key Electrical Engineers, and Electrical Contractors for purpose of maintaining and/or improving revenue and meeting gross margin targets Develop business relationships with key supplier personnel to ensure products and services are efficiently built and delivered as required by customers Deliver effective presentations on new products to existing and new customers Troubleshoot
product and service related issues by being the bridge between customers and manufacturers Strong emphasis on proactive communication with North Central Sales Manager & other Sales Management, informing of any important developments with vendors or customers Accurately forecast expected sales on a monthly basis Involve Sales Management in customer visits when practical Maintain excellent records, manage receipts and expense reports, and submit to accounting department on a monthly basis Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Requirements: Skills/Knowledge Extensive knowledge of Batteries, Chargers, DC Power Plants, Telecom applications, Switchgear and Control applications, and Data Center applications
