Collaborates with leadership and Clinical Education to provide support to and routine check-ins with new staff. This includes assisting in the development of new grad RNs. Assists with mandatory education oversight, mentoring, guidance, and competency

of unit staff. Participates in professional development and performance improvement initiatives, associated dashboards, and strategic planning. Promotes a culture of safety and quality by consistently maintaining a safe environment for patients, family, and staff.

Ensures compliance with National Patient Safety Standards. Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability. Assists leadership with operational and supply budgets and promotes appropriate utilization. Makes recommendations for expenditures and provides required data. Assists in the development of both simple and complex clinical policies and procedures. Performs audits, prepares reports, takes part in quality improvement

activities, and completes follow-up education and training as needed.

Performs patient rounding as needed to backss situations, patient care needs, and outcomes. Reviews documentation for accuracy and effectiveness of nursing interventions. Collaborates with the healthcare team to resolve patient, family, or physician complaints in a timely manner. Provides service excellence and improves patient satisfaction. Escalates concerns/complaints as necessary. Acts as a clinical expert and unit lead for ensuring best practices. Attends meetings as requested. Provides delivery of direct patient care as needed and within scope of license. Covers open shifts and participates in on-call when required.

Expert knowledge of clinical practices, policies, and procedures Adult and clinical teaching skills Excellent computer skills including data collection, interpretation, and analysis Ability to demonstrate an independent work initiative, attention to detail, sound judgement, and time management Ability to multitask and manage stress in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact respectfully with diverse cultural and socio-economic populations Here Is What You Will Need: Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (e NLC) Two (2) or more years of clinical experience in an acute care setting Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date 30 Days to 2 years: Additional requirements/certifications as noted in the Specialty Certification Requirements and Mandatory Requirements for Specialty Units lists below Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing within two (2) years Leadership experience Specialty Certification Requirements: Specialty certifications grace periods, unless otherwise specified per department (see mandatory requirements for specialty units below): AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and AAP NRP should be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer as required by specialty unit.

TNCC and ENPC should be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer as required by specialty unit. Mandatory Requirements For Specialty Units: Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements for specialty units once hired or transfer, unless alternate arrangements made with the Clinical Manager: Administrative Rapid Response (ARR) - NIHSS within 30 days; AHA ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or AHA PALS, AAP NRP, and CPI within 1 year Ambulatory Infusion Center, Hematology/Oncology Clinic, and Radiation Oncology - ONS biotherapy/chemotherapy within 6 months Behavioral Health - CPI training within 90 days Cardiac Services - AHA ACLS Dialysis - AHA ACLS ED - NIHSS within 90 days; CPI, AHA ACLS, and TNCC within 6 months; ENPC and NRP within 1 year Forensic Nursing - IAFN approved SANE training within 2 months of hire.

Complete forensic orientation training within 6 months of hire ICU - NIHSS within 90 days; AHA ACLS and TNCC within 1 year Labor and Delivery - AAP NRP within 6 months of hire; AHA ACLS within 6 months of completing L&D orientation; and Fetal Heart Monitoring within 6 months of completing L&D orientation MBU - AAP NRP within 6 months of hire Medical Imaging - Procedural Nurse: AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and Moderate Sedation within six months of hire Nursery - AAP NRP within 6 months PACU- AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, CPAN within 2 years, minimum of six months critical care experience Peds - AHA NRP within 6 months; AHA PALS or ENPC within 6 months of finishing specialized orientation Same Day Surgery - CAPA within 2 years, AHA ACLS within 1 year of hire.

SONU - NIHSS within 3 months, CPI for Charge Nurse within 6 months of hire.

Telemetry - AHA ACLS within 1 year of hire.
