Hub Locations: Richardson, TX and Bloomington, IL Responsibilities As a part of the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team within the Talent Strategy Division of Human Resources & Development , this role will support the OE vision to align talent with the ever-changing needs of our customers and the organization through ensuring we have the right skills in the right roles at the right time in the right way. This

role is tasked with taking a data-driven, empirical approach to align long-term workforce strategies to business strategies with a focus on developing Organizational Design models and strategies.

As a member of this team, we are looking for dynamic professionals that thrive in cross-functional teams to support State Farm's business areas' complex, multi-faceted design projects, research, and modeling. This role will apply their strong experience and expertise in the discipline to facilitate business area leaders and project teams through a tailored OD framework to meet each business area's specific need. The ability to collaborate and influence up and across multiple stakeholder groups while also directly managing multiple project workstreams will be key for success in the role.

This work will involve leaning into ambiguity to lead and define State Farm organizational design practices. We are seeking candidates able to do the following: Design and implement organizational analyses and backssments, such as Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analyses, hiring needs backssments, skills backssments, workload analyses, business process reviews, FEVS analyses, or analyses of organizational culture Translate analysis and backssment results into detailed action plans Guide HR and business leaders through strategic organizational design processes to develop or improve organizational and team structures, roles and responsibilities, and governance processes to improve performance and encourage a positive workplace culture Consult on organizational processes, systems and structures that reinforce business strategy, build desired culture, and have a focus for the future (modernize).

Partner with other enablers, subject matter resources, and business area executives and leaders to plan, prepare, and execute organization restructures, organizational design changes, or new team designs.

Build and continuously improve tools and playbooks to grow Organizational Design capability across OD practitioners, OE team members, and HR partners. Implement tools and consultation practices that enable leaders to make data driven decisions and implement empirically strong org design processes that increase work teams' efficiencies, effectiveness, and nimbleness. Support the full scope of organizational design activities through activation including support and consult business partners with developing new teams, onboarding leaders to the new team design, reinforcing new practices and processes, aligning performance metrics, and reinforcing rewards.

Create, support, and partner with other subject matter resources for organizational wide Job Architecture and role design. Provide guidance and coordination across departments, functions, and/or the Enterprise to build alignments and efficiencies in organizational designs. As a part of the Center of Excellence for organizational design you will be expected to research, provide guidance, and share knowledge of organizational design research, benchmarking, and approaches to build organizational effectiveness and agility across the Enterprise.
