Postdoctoral Researcher, you will play a vital role in advancing our scientific understanding and technological innovations in the field of eye care. Responsibilities: Conduct independent research projects and/or in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including software, system engineering, mechanic design, and advanced research, focused on advancing eye care technologies.

Design and implement experimental protocols, utilizing your strong hands-on skills to develop and improve prototypes for novel medical devices. Perform rigorous data analysis using advanced statistical methods and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Utilize analytical modeling

techniques to simulate and optimize the mechanical behavior of ocular structures.

Apply your expertise in animal tissue handling to develop and refine in vitro and in vivo models for preclinical testing. Other duties as assigned. Ph. D. in a science or engineering field received in the last 0-3 years, with a proven track record of research excellence. Strong publication record demonstrating your expertise in experimental design and data analysis Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in scientific research (e. g. MATLAB, Python). Proficiency in analytical modeling such as finite element analysis modeling, preferably in the context of eye structures, biomechanics, and/or human tissues.

Strong hands-on experimental skills, including expertise in prototyping experimental setups and data analysis Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present research findings. Experience in working with animal tissue is preferred, including handling and processing. The anticipated base pay for this position is $95,000 but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience.
