Review documentation to ensure functions performed meet quality control requirements. Handle, restrain, and provide care for all species of laboratory animals at the site. Perform study preparation activities including collection tube labeling and room setup. Performed Intraocular Pressure (IOP) measurements (Pneumatonometer/Tonovet). Perform fundus imagine. Handle and holding animals for imaging work. Performed necropsies- tissue collection. Assist surgeon in Operating Room. Maintain storage, used, and record
keeping for control substances. Performed and monitor animals for anesthesia, and analgesia.

Candidate Requirements: HSD/GED required with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Associate degree (preferred) in veterinary technology with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
B. S with minimum of 3 years relevant experience. M. S. with minimum of 2-3 years relevant industry experience depending on education level. Certification as a registered veterinarian technician (RVT) is a plus. Education level requirement could be amended based on relevant years of experience. Background in lab animal (in vivo) research is a must. Working knowledge of preclinical techniques and modalities will be a plus. Position requires good communication skills and attention to detail. Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment are keys for success.
