Responsibilities Produces reports for quality improvement, guidelines, utilization, and outcomes, error-free and on time Educates medical staff departments, administrative staff, and ancillary service departments regarding the tools of performance improvement, methods for measurement, analysis, and reporting to meet the standards of the JCAHO, HCFA, NCQA or other regulatory agencies Prepares reports on Q&OM activities as needed for informing clinical, operations, and financial stakeholders, on time and error-free Provides at least three (3) educational sessions in one calendar year within the System Attends performance improvement, medical management, and other System committees as designated
Prepares agendas, reports, minutes of committees as assigned, on time and error-free Outlines project plan with deadlines to keep groups on task Performs any research needed for the team and assures all material available for members Collaborates with appropriate services to coordinate external reporting of patient data: Assures data integrity and appropriate involvement of physician and hospital leaders Serves as a contact person for a National Organization for continued education, updated information and serves as a resource for administration on national benchmarking issues
