The project includes building and testing the compatibility of application packages. VA will use the Windows Laboratory in Albany, New York to develop and test the software packaging, compatibility, analysis, and remediation.9 th Way Insignia is looking for a QA Tester to join this team. Responsibilities Verify and resolve application compatibility problems. Test each package and application on a virtual machine provided by VA. Test each
package and application on VA-provided, dedicated virtual and/or physical hardware located in the Albany, New York. Verify the packages using dedicated resources that are not assigned to the task of software packaging.
Provide assistance during testing conducted by DDE, and testing conducted by VA IT staff or VA OI&T Product Development in the field, by answering questions and resolving issues with specific packages via email, instant messaging or phone. Requirements Experience with Windows Client systems. Experience with Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part
