Job Summary: This position will perform sampling and raw materials release duties according to Barlean's procedures and 21 CFR 111 requirements. The sampling technician will work closely with production and supply chain to prioritize sampling to meet operational needs. This position will also assist with a wide range of quality duties including calibration, environmental monitoring, hold/release, and maintaining data on qualification
of suppliers and materials. Pay Range: $18.75/hr. - $23.00/hr. - Depending on Experience Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Life AD&D LTD 401k match 100 hours PTO Hours: Monday-Friday - Day Shift Primary Responsibilities: Sample raw materials in a manner that will not lead to contamination.
Prepare raw materials and testing chains of custody for laboratory testing. Review spreadsheets to determine type of testing. Maintain spreadsheets for supplier and material qualification. Use an FTIR to perform identity scans. Inspect and release primary packaging. Prepare finished goods and testing chains of custody for laboratory testing. Assist in investigation and resolving any out of specification
results. Assist in environmental monitoring. Assist in maintaining and verifying calibration of equipment.
Perform master sanitation of the sampling room. Maintain inventory levels of sterile sampling equipment. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent critical thinking skills. Work under general supervision. Ability to evaluate data and clearly communicate results. Ability to engage in cross functional teamwork and multi-tasking. Attention to detail is a mandatory skill required for effectiveness. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Easily takes initiative to ensure forward progress.
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines. Ability to prioritize and use effective time management. Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of FDA and Title 21 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations). Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds unassisted. Education and Experience: High School Diploma 3 years' experience in a related industry required. Bachelor's Degree in food science or sciences preferred.

This person will be working closely with other departments to maintain Quality and GMP policies, including product investigations, internal audits, maintaining the QA database, and working with customers on product specifications. This position will also aid in QC Inspection needs as required to assure manufacturing results meet all required specifications. Pay Range:
