Consideration for a remote-work arrangement will be based on a candidate's level of industry experience in testing and commissioning. Responsibilities include electrical acceptance and maintenance testing of medium and high voltage apparatus as well as all aspects of AC and DC control circuit verification.
Additional responsibilities include participation in all EPCS and client safety and testing training programs. The successful candidates will assist with testing of power transformers, medium and high voltage circuit breakers, instrument transformers, switches, reactors, capacitor banks, grounding
systems, switchgear and protective relays and control systems. As abilities grow, the successful candidates will prepare quotes for testing work and will write formal test reports for clients.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining equipment and shipping and receiving equipment. Travel is a significant part of the job. Minimum Requirements: Successful completion of Electric Utility Substation and Relay Technology program or similar program; experience in testing and maintenance on medium and high voltage systems or nuclear testing is a plus.
