As the nation’s largest energy efficiency program, EE is helping to transform markets, set building codes and appliance standards and be the marker by which all other utilities are measured. Position Summary Manager role will oversee three engineering teams which work to support the broader Energy Efficiency Organization. Including overseeing all quality control and risk management functions of the Energy Efficiency department. This includes responsibilities on our custom, deemed, and meter-based platforms in close coordination with our Portfolio Management team.
Manages the Energy Division parallel review and ex ante and ex post processes. Works closely with the CPUC to ensure PG&E is in compliance with all energy efficiency project installation requirements. Works with internal and external stakeholders to communicate updates to measure values. Oversees all audit efforts within the organization, and supports the broader Load Management organization with technical support and oversight. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
Work location will be determined by hiring leader and successful candidate. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $136,000.00 Bay Area Maximum: $232,000.00 and/or California Minimum: $129,000.00 California Maximum: $220,000.00 Job Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to a large and diverse team of individual contributors and three supervisors.
Provide oversight on the Quality Control of Deemed, Custom, and Meter-Based Platforms and share results with Portfolio Management. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating updates on the Platform Rulebook to EE Stakeholders. Develop strategic EE Communications plan and be primary point of contact for EE communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide guidance and oversight on Platform exceptions and oversee governance structure. Primary point of contact for Ex-Ante CPUC relations, communication, and coordination. Communicate findings from CPUC evaluations to Project Developer teams in effort to improve future project submittals Manage and facilitate deemed measure workpaper priorities with EE Portfolio Management Qualifications Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience 8 years of job related experience including Utility Customer Service, Operations and Sales Professional engineer license/certification Desired: Graduate Degree in Business Administration Prior supervisory experience Experience in project management Lean Six Sigma certification and/or training
