The team partners closely with leaders in Vegetation Management and System Inspection Execution, Vegetation Management Quality Control, Risk and Regulatory Compliance, and Quality Verification/Assurance to select and drive relevant projects to greater efficiency and productivity.

Position Summary The Electric Quality Control leader oversees the creation and maintenance of electric quality control programs as well as the audit and quality activities for program monitoring and governance. May focus primarily on either Transmission or Distribution functions. Incumbent leads the creation, maintenance, and oversight of activities for both external regulatory compliance requirements and internal company requirements.

The incumbent may oversee the data warehousing and analysis related to compliance and/or the audit activities for monitoring and governance. The incumbent ensures that work is done consistent with procedures and guidelines and that group objectives are met. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. CA Minimum: $120,000 CA Maximum: $190,000 &/OR Bay Minimum: $126,000 Bay Maximum: $200,000 This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities May perform quality control audits and process reviews for Electric Operations. May track audit findings and communicate trend to the appropriate line of business for performance improvements. May work with or provide information to various regulatory agencies, e. g. CPUC Electric Incident Reports; CPUC Inspections; CPUC audit reports; CAISO maintenance inspections; FERC audits or investigations, and NERC/WECC Reliability Standards Compliance Provides quality consulting to internal clients by evaluating and reviewing processes to ensure improvement is embedded into the processes, and to share best practices.

Coaches, develops and leads the team members to achieve the department goals and the individual's development objectives. Develops Technology tools, QC Training curriculum, training documentation and delivers training to Specialists and other internal partners. Reviews results from quality control process, facilitate the development of reports that show gaps and issues and ensures data accuracy. Continually identifies and proposes improvements based on data results.

Partners with stakeholders in Electric Operations to ensure quality control points are implemented, monitored, and measured for compliance with processes and procedures. Ensures quality control reviews and practices are performed consistently across all workstreams. Directly supervise a team of 4-8 engineers, auditors, specialists and/or analysts. Assist Manager in Contract Vendor selection, recruiting and onboarding. Qualifications Minimum: High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma 5 years of experience in auditing or quality assurance/control 2 years supervisory or project/team lead experience Travel up to 20% working time Desired: Current or previous PG&E supervisory experience over Compliance Inspector, Linemen, QA or QC Specialist Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance and auditing concepts, methods, practices and techniques.

Knowledge of electric inspection/construction methods and practices. Knowledge of General Orders 165, 95 and 128 Strong data analysis and reporting skills. Strong communication, analysis and decision-making skills. Good analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
