Title: Assistant Director - QA Engineer Location: 405 Howard Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105Duties: Provide support and contribute to product development cycle to ensure
timely release of quality products. Design, write, and execute tests for web-based products and/or client-server applications. Apply standard testing techniques for back-end database and financial applications.
Develop test documentation for back-end database and financial applications and analyze results of tests and provide meaningful reports to the project team. Use queries to create test data and analyze data flow. Work with developers, other testers, and key stakeholders to devise test plans and schedule for each software release. Evaluate, review and test new or modified software programs, including documentation, diagram, flowchart, and software development procedures used to verify
that programs function according to end user requirements. Responsible for running in-depth testing, diagnosing problems, recommending solutions, and determining if program requirements have been met.
Perform functional and load testing of applications, including developing and maintaining automated scripts, such as regression and integration to test functionality and/or defects. Utilize C#, Selenium, Specflow, JSON, Jira, Rally, bitbucket, Jenkins, XUnit, JUnit and API. Write and maintain test cases and plan from specifications or current applications. Create estimation of time required to fulfill user requests. Collaborate with other QA engineers to review others documentation and test scripts to ensure accuracy and functionality of all developed systems.
Work with other QA Engineer's as needed to ensure expertise of team and uphold quality assurance standards. Follow schedule in project/incident tracking system, including awareness of goal dates, pro-active communication, and clear documentation of progress of an item. Document time that is associated with each assigned task in accordance with company standards and coordinate/assist IT, security, and customers. Responsible for both definition and execution of functional test and development and maintenance of automated QA test scripts (written in the Microsoft C#.
Net language against the applications custom testing framework). Test workflow functionality of application. Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time. Destination and frequency impossible to predict. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus one (1) year of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related position. Must have experience with the following: performing manual or automated test engineering; performing requirements analysis, test planning, strategy and execution, defect tracking, UI quality assurance testing, and release support; applying knowledge of financial risk analytics to develop edge and negative test scenarios; utilizing agile processes, including SCRUM, and Continuous Build and Integration; working with QA methodologies, including test plan management using Rally, publishing test reports, and maintaining QA metrics; using Jenkins for deployment and working with web-based technology architecture and data structures.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $140,358 to $190,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
