USIU-Africa is looking to appoint an outstanding academic leader to head USIU-Africa as its fourth Vice Chancellor.
Reporting to the University Council, the Vice Chancellor will set the vision for USIU-Africa and deliver on its strategic objectives with integrity, energy, and sound judgement. As the Universitys Chief Executive, the Vice Chancellor is responsible for the universitys successful and sustainable operation, including overseeing
and strengthening its finances and delivering on the strategic implementation of important capital expansion. This also includes acting as an ambassador for the university in seeking out partnerships and collaborations that will diversify income and enhance its offerings, while working collaboratively with the University Senate, University Council, Board of Trustees, and Management Board.
The Vice Chancellor is the Chair of both the University Senate and Management Board. The successful candidate will have a breadth of international experience and bring a track record of academic achievement and successful collaborative leadership, including as an astute administrator, innovator, and
fundraiser. They will have excellent listening and communication skills, high levels of emotional intelligence, and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
