Northrop Grumman is looking for a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to join a team supporting an exciting, dynamic suite of programs. The candidate must have strong, relevant experience supporting industrial security programs. Strong working

knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to manage multiple high-priority tasks, and must be highly effective at making sound decisions amid ambiguity.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision. Must be willing and able to perform business travel, including local area travel, including attending meetings and providing off-hours alarm response, and travel within CONUS, including attending meetings and supporting off-site program requirements (business travel estimated

to be 15-25%). Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Develops, prepares, and maintains the operations security programs. Establish and lead Operations Security (OPSEC) working group meetings.

Maintain close working relationship with customer OPSEC team and stakeholders. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Basic Qualifications for a level 5: Active TS/SCI Poly clearance15 years CSSO or related experience with Bachelor's; or 13 years CSSO or related with Master's: an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Ability to travel up to 25%. Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in the administration and implementation of OPSEC plans and programs.

Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees. Highly organized and highly effective time management skills. Salary Range: $130,100 - $204,500The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
