We are looking for an experienced Medical Technician/Phlebotomist to join our team at our Deer Park, TX site for a full time position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to work independently Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail Ability to read, write,

and comprehend medical information. Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone. Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.

Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance. Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC. DUTIES: Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures. Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures. Performs temperature checks Performs COVID nasal swab tests Process CDC questionnaires Obtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signs Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician

in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.

Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing. Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements. Performs safe venipuncture (phlebotomy). Performs urine dipstick testing. Performs 12 lead EKGs. Performs audiometric screening, Performs other duties as required POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Current EMT-Basic or Medical Assistant Certificates preferred Current National Phlebotomy Certification preferred Current CPR/BLS Certification Pass DISA Background Check Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening TWIC Card (preferred)Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)Must have available transportation with up to date insurance coverage Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees CORE and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity Employers, EOE/ADAAA/AA.
