Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a

valid, State-issued driver license to operate a motor vehicle. This position requires incumbent to wear safety and/or use protective equipment. This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Pesticide Applicator Certification in categories 2, 3, 5, and 6, or be able to obtain within 12 months and maintain recertification.

Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 10% of the duty time is required. The employee may be required to work nights and weekends. This position requires you to pass a pre-placement medical and annual medical surveillance exam in accordance with Occupational Health requirements. OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree that included a least 24 semester hours in any combination of scientific or technical courses such as biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, animal husbandry, botany, physics, agriculture or mathematics.

At least 6 semester hours of courses must have been directly related to the position to be filled. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60.
