a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote). Starting base salary = $76,000 - $95,000 a year (commensurate with related experience). The Senior Specialist, Health Systems & Field Intelligence executes the operations for a portfolio of multiple high-profile health systems groups that include health system CEOs and c-suite executives.

This role creates an annual blueprint and schedule for key health systems groups' member touchpoints and ensures all events are executed seamlessly and actively participates in the execution of the systems work plan. The Senior Specialist takes ownership of projects emerging from the groups' discussions. The role also develops reports

that illustrate key health system characteristics to share within the AHA. This role also includes leadership of the creation of intelligence briefing documents to strategically share member intelligence internally within the AHA Executive Team and supports Field Engagement in accessing member intelligence and optimizing AHA's capabilities to catalog and distribute intelligence.

Manages and implements onsite and virtual events within the assigned health system portfolio. Ensures meetings are executed to meet objectives and to create valuable member experiences. Monitors assigned meeting budgets and coordinates contracts as needed. Creates annual blueprint for sequencing and positioning

the anticipated touchpoints for the groups based on AHA flagship meetings (e.

g. the Annual Meeting, regional policy board meetings and the Annual Health Systems Leadership Retreat). Manages the planning of the Health Systems Leadership Retreat. Conducts sponsorship, speaker and member communications, and production of onsite materials and collaborates with Meetings and Travel and other areas of the AHA for optimal implementation of the retreat. Contributes to design and programming of systems events. Creates and distributes materials, including but not limited to agenda books, briefing materials, annotated agendas, Power Point decks, and reports for various audiences such as members and AHA executive management.

Synthesizes systems member group discussion into meeting summaries for actionable use in public policy, advocacy and engagement strategy. Collaborates with internal colleagues and external partners and vendors to ensure successful development, implementation and execution to ensure projects and related assignments emerging from the groups' events meet deadlines and achieve deliverables. Develops and oversees work plans and coordinates internal and external executive schedules.
