This individual will be part of the sustainability and government affairs leadership team of GE Vernova and will work across all regions and functions to drive outcomes for the GE Vernova global portfolio of energy businesses.
The Chief of Operations will serve as a thought and accountability partner to the Group Vice President, Sustainability and Global Government Affairs, and the leadership team. They will support the implementation of the GE Vernova sustainability and government affairs programs, goals, and values while helping to streamline procedures and processes to improve program effectiveness
and cross-functional collaboration. They will support and champion lean continuous improvement and partner with the leadership team to build processes and standards that can scale across the business units.
The Chief of Operations will also serve as a link between the GE Vernova Chief Sustainability Officer, Head of Government Affairs and energy business leadership teams to prioritize and solve problems based on voice of the customer. This individual will also work cross functional across the GE Vernova leadership team to ensure that customer value and business priorities are an integral part of our operating strategy. This individual also will support efforts to deploy lean to operationalize
both the sustainability and global government affairs program toward success for priorities, outcomes, and key performance indicators.

Essential Responsibilities: Support ing the Group Vice President, Sustainability and Global Government Affairs, in the execution of significant strategic, operational, and cultural visions and agendas while navigating through uncertainty and risk. Proactively identifying and acting on opportunities to increase the GE Vernova Chief Sustainability Officer, Vice President of Government Affairs ' efficiency and efficacy. Collaborating with the GE Vernova Chief Sustainability Officer, Vice President of Government Affairs toward the d evelop ment and institution of a Lean operating cadence.
Extending the reach and impact of the GE Vernova Chief Sustainability Officer, Vice President of Government Affairs through delegated project management, relationship building, and acting as a proxy, where appropriate , and as directed by the GE Vernova Chief Sustainability Officer, Vice President of Government Affairs. Supporting external engagement including speaking engagements, government and stakeholder meetings, and presentations.
Supporting internal engagement including Board presentations and communications with employees and leaders. Managing relationships with external stakeholders to ensure best in class responsiveness and relationship building across diverse groups and global locations. Navigating complex demands on schedules and travel, with the ability to apply judgment to prioritize critical engagements while engaging directly with stakeholders on behalf of principals and organization. Independently leading special projects, programs, and meetings that impact the success of the organization. Building organizational capabilities by embedding Le an and productivity tools into the operating philosophy of sustainability and government affairs.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 35% target bonus.
