Monday Friday, 8am-5pm Temp to Hire Job Description: This position will obtain, validate, and maintain most current provider contact information necessary to process claims; and maintain privacy compliance. Responsible for contacting providers by phone, fax or email to verify/update/correct all pertinent information required to request documentation.
Ensures contact information is validated by speaking to highest member of department (medical record or billing department) Maintains and updates the provider contact database Ensure provider contact information is accurate repetitively every 6 months; obtain updated lists from departments if applicable Receive request and follow up on real
time requests from analysts Validate and correct duplicates and misspellings Communicates with respective Lead/Supervisor or Manager on any issues or problems if needed.
Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications. Punctual and consistent attendance required. Maintains production standards and production requirements. Assist coworkers, supervisor or management to accomplish product goals and reports any potential issues in a proactive manner. Additional duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Pleasant speaking voice with polished phone etiquette Proficient in Microsoft Office applications High attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast paced, production
environment Exceptional follow up skills Highly organized EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of medical office or administrative experience High attention to detail Proven track record of excellent attendance Production-driven experience is a plus!
