Candidates should have experience preparing Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental site backssments, scoping of Phase 2 site backssments, and extensive field experience. Candidates should have experience with delineation and remediation of various contaminants in
soil, groundwater and soil gas on commercial and/or industrial project sites. Job Snapshot: This position will include a mix of both field and office work associated with environmental evaluations Field work will include drilling of soil borings; installation of monitor wells; identification of the soils encountered and determination of well construction; soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling for chemical analysis; and other testing and sampling as may be required Office tasks will include preparation of data tables; graphical presentation of data; comparison of soil and groundwater data to State regulatory standards; and report preparation Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering,
geology or environmental related science 3-8 years of experience conducting geo-environmental projects Experience interacting with regulatory representatives Willing and able to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications: Professional registration in Tennessee; or ability to obtain in the future Why work at S&ME?
