per day. Employees must physically work at the facility 3 days per workweek to qualify. The 5% Premium Pay is in effect until June 29th, 2025. Please Note: Expected shift is Night Shift, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Friday through Monday. This position has been posted within the assigned pay range through Step T.

These locations provide Medicare and Medicaid nursing home care to honorably discharged veterans, including, in some instances, their spouses, widows, or Gold Star Families. We are now accepting applications for a part-time RN2 for our Washington Soldiers Home. In this role, you'll assist in the delivery of nursing and nursing related care to our residents. In addition, you'll be responsible for monitoring assigned

residents in accordance with standards of practice, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.

Some of what you will be doing: Directing and supervising the care given by nursing personnel in assigned areas; planning, overseeing and evaluating their work. Performing on-the-job training for newly hired staff. Assisting physician with physical examinations, techniques and procedures. Preparing, evaluating and revising treatment plans for individual residents based on recommendations of a physician.

Under physicians' orders passing medications, administers, monitors, and records treatments, and backsses the condition of the resident. Maintaining health care records according to policies and procedures. Required: Current and valid Washington State License to practice as a Registered Nurse. Ability to speak, read, and write in English for medical charts. Preferred: Long term care experience. One year of experience as an RN. Articulate methods and practices of nursing and restorative care; personal hygiene and sanitation methods, record keeping, report preparation, infection control procedures and resident rights.

Experience in backssing, evaluating, and participating in the development of appropriate plans of care. Plan, implement, and document appropriate discharge planning for residents when appropriate. Must comply with health screening requirements by undergoing a tuberculosis skin test and remain current in CPR. Requires medical evaluation, fit testing, training, and use of respiratory protection as required by Washington Industrial Safety & Act standards. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and capable of reaching a minimum of 36" using proper techniques for resident repositioning or access to supplies. Capable of pushing or pulling with sufficient strength. Employee must be able to walk, sit, and bend in an unrestricted manner on a consistent basis during the entire work day.
