Overview: The Regional Opportunity Coordinator develops complex and strategic sales collateral that is well-written, accurate, consistent, responsive and reflects customer-specific themes.
In this role, the incumbent will work directly with the Regional Project Team Lead and other Regional Opportunity Coordinators to manage a regions content library and ensure responses, presentations, graphics and visuals are consistently up-to-date and available to the
production and sales enablement teams. This includes managing proposals of moderate to high complexity when necessary. Responsibilities: Essential Duties: Manages RFP responses as projects, including setting and maintaining timelines for successful delivery of proposals Edits proposal language to ensure incorporation of strategic themes as well as compliance with proposal requirements and RFP requirements Meets with sales staff and others to review RFP and determine requirements to develop compliant, customized proposals Identifies and contacts subject matter experts throughout Gallagher to get accurate information for inclusion in proposals based on requirements and platforms Creates original
text and coordinate illustrations, explanatory tables and/or graphics Defines, documents, implements and supports continual proposal process improvement including creative writing Utilizes proposal database and previous bids to provide compliant proposal responses Provides updated proposal information for inclusion into RFP database Coordinates timely production of proposals & presentations Qualifications: Requirements: 2-3 years of marketing & communications experience; experience in developing original material for publication or competitive evaluation and prior proposal experience is a plus General knowledge of proposal & presentation processes Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Suite Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently across multiple functions within the organization Superior writing and editing skills Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams to develop a customer-specific proposal & presentation strategy Strong organizational, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced , deadline-driven, matrix environment Ability to create new proposal text by meeting with subject matter experts or using reference documents Required Preferred Job Industries Customer Service
