with our fries. Job Description Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Microbiology, the Manager, Sanitation Technology and Hygienic Design provides leadership and technical expertise for sanitary and hygienic design throughout Lamb Weston.

This position has responsibility for the evaluation and validation of hygienic aspects of equipment and process lines, hygienic design of production building, process equipment and process lines, drafting hygienic and sanitary design guidelines and working closely with engineering during all projects, from feasibility to commissioning. The individual will be required to work closely with operations, innovation, microbiology engineering, and

quality teams. Job Description Position Responsibilities: Develop hygienic design guidelines and policies.

Subject matter expert on sanitary and hygienic design of all production equipment and collaborate with Lamb Weston engineering on all new and existing projects to include all Factory Acceptance Test. Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, quality, to establish and maintain hygienic zones in facilities. Assist hygiene backssments as part of Lamb Weston's Sanitary Program backssment. Assist in developing corrective action plans and assign corporate team as necessary for gap improvement. Point of contact for all plants, new and/or existing equipment and infrastructure design and installation projects as part of new equipment installation policy.

Subject matter expert for review of all process flow, block flow, schematics, and equipment layout to ensure compliance to sanitary design expectations in collaboration with corporate and plant engineering. Review all infrastructure materials used in manufacturing, process, packaging, and PPCA areas to ensure compatibility. Work closely with Lamb Weston Engineering and Corporate Sanitation partners on appropriate design for cleaning systems (including CIP, COP, etc) to facilitate effective and efficient systems.

Own the food safety part of Capital Investment Request (Pre-CIR) process. Develops and manages certain global food Safety/Sanitation policies and procedures. Supports innovation on special projects. Assist in water saving initiatives through hygienic and sanitary design optimization. Assist in developing sanitation training programs and coaching. Support and ensure compliance with BRC, FSMA, FDA, OSHA, State and Local regulations in hygienic design programs. Recommend design or environmental infrastructural improvements to drive improvements to Sanitation Effectiveness and EMP findings.

Work with corporate sanitation team to troubleshoot sanitation, food safety, and quality issues due to hygienic design issues at the plant level as need. Performs other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Lamb Weston's organizational and business needs. S. in Microbiology, Food Science, engineering or related field or progressive supervisory responsibility in a food manufacturing setting. A minimum of 10 years of progressive food safety experience required; at least 5 years with direct oversight of sanitary design in a food manufacturing environment. Sanitary Design Certification is required. Must be able to work independently and have strong demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and self-initiative skills.

Excellent organizational and project management skills a must Computer Skills: MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Access Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Proficient command of English - must be an effective communicator (oral and written) with training, facilitation and project management skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Bilingual in Spanish a plus Ability to travel up to 40% of the time. Physical Requirements: Incumbent must have the ability to effectively perform all of the following physical demands without assistance: Stand, sit, and/or walk for up to 8 hours a day.

Drive company or rental vehicle for up to 6 hours in a day, infrequently. Occasionally will work in plant settings Use of lab equipment and tools. Lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
