The Licensed Practical Nurse is a key member of the care delivery team. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, communicates the needs of the patient and the team; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, takes direction from the RN and delegates appropriately to the other members of the team.
