Violence Human Trafficking Intimate Partner Violence (IVP)Interpersonal Violence Child Neglect/Physical Abuse Elder and Vulnerable Person Abuse/Neglect Trauma Mass Disaster Our COH Nurses primarily work in the Emergency Department, but respond to all areas of the hospital when needed.

COH Nurses collaborate with law enforcement to collect specimens for legal purposes. COH Nurses provide medical/forensic care that is tailored to each patient. They educate patients and provide referrals to multiple community partners. Additionally, COH Nurses partner with our Trauma Program to provide child passenger safety car seat inspections and fittings. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requires

an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
