The position will work closely with sales/marketing to develop and maintain and accurate forecast. Supplier compliance management Monitor inventory levels and adjust as necessary; minimize material stock outs Analyzes reported material demands and reorder prompts Procures materials from approved supply sources in a timely manner Monitors and reports on material shelf life expiration reports to minimize potential inventory loss; monitors inventory to identify and reduce potential surplus and obsolete material Maximizes inventory turns REQUIRED knowledge/skills/abilities
and other minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Business, Logistics or a related field Three to four years of related experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment Additional Qualifications Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Process organizing and coordinating skills. Strong attention to detail, sound business judgment and strong planning and organization skills required. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse business community.
