We're currently looking for an innovative individual and natural leader to help us take this reality to a new level, starting with our Advertising Director. The Advertising Director
has responsibilities of increasing revenues for newspapers, magazines, online news products, works with sales reps to develop strategies to help customers grow their business, and assist sales reps in forecasting sales and surpassing goals.
The director will also use consultative selling to manage key accounts, make sales calls with sales reps and attend community events and create sales proposals and keep up- to-date special sections, marketing pieces, calendars, and Media Kit. The ideal candidate has excellent skills in leadership, team building, negotiation, issue resolution, innovation, and customer service. Strong management skills. Outstanding external and internal communication
skills. Possesses a strong understanding of online media and its metrics, analytics, and marketing.
Self-motivated and goal oriented. Has a history of building customer relationships and cross-selling techniques. Success will be achieved through a combination of coaching, supporting and challenging others to help them grow their territory and tell Fort Wayne Newspapers' story to a wide audience of customers and prospects.
