As the Head of Marketing reporting to our CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to generate demand, drive customer acquisition and retention, fueling the companys growth.
You will oversee all aspects of marketing from demand generation, growth, content, sales assets, communities, social, and events. As the first leadership hire for the marketing organization, we are looking for someone who is excited to grow with us as the company grows. Responsibilities - Own all aspects of the marketing funnel with a focus on demand generation and growth marketing to drive
revenue. Drive product evangelism with integrated marketing campaigns using paid and unpaid channels, including but not limited to digital marketing, content marketing, social media, communities, events, email marketing, and SEO/SEM, to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Operations, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and drive revenue growth. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and leverage insights to inform marketing strategies. Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve
marketing objectives and maximize ROI. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on demand generation and growth marketing preferably with products for developers. Previous experience in a leadership position is a plus. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful demand-generation strategies that resulted in measurable business growth. Strong expertise in all aspects of marketing from digital marketing, content marketing, social media, communities, events, email marketing, and SEO/SEM.
Solid understanding of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
$140,000 - $220,000 a year San Francisco Bay Area Only The estimated base salary range for this role is expected to be between $140,000 and $220,000. Actual pay will be determined by considering factors such as location, relevant skills, and experience. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for stock options and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
