THE ROLEResponsible for assisting the Lamb Weston Global Operations Team in delivering key operational KPIs, aligning and measuring the plant KPIs globally, leading continuous improvement projects, providing leadership for Velocity operating model and reducing materials and raw potato costs. This role will be heavily focused on the day-to-day operations management and execution of strategic projects involving plant operations, financial forecasting, variance reporting.
Partners with business leaders to provide insights and guidance to ensure sound financial decisions are made for the organization. Allocates resources effectively to create an efficient operation, facilitates activities that drive improvements to financial systems and programs. Develops and mentors global staff, including both direct and indirect reports, focusing on long term development. Areas of responsibility will include financial analytics, operational improvements, accounting, internal controls, monthly reporting, and enhancing financial systems. Job Description Responsible for driving simplicity, accountability, global collaboration and imagination throughout the assigned projects and across the global operational team Develop project plans and maintain reporting processes that support timely achievement of project objectives. Bring global alignment for operational reporting for both managerial and financial reporting Ensure classification of expenses are harmonized across the globe to ensure cost to serve models are effective and relevant.
Provide financial and operational analytical support targeted at improving business performance. Leverage and develops SAP reporting systems to develop and maintain processes and systems to provide business partners with accurate, timely information regarding financial and operational performance Provide leadership for SAP plant go-live for North America and then to our international plants Provide leadership and executive sponsor for our Focus Improvement Pillar and our ve LOCity pillar Significant involvement in developing and maintaining relationships between Supply Chain Finance, North America Commercial Finance, International commercial finance, Business Services Center, Information Technology teams, Supply Chain functions and other Corporate Functions.
Business partner with our North America and International SVP of supply chain, provide them with financial insights that will drive business results. Direct leadership for North American plant finance team in strong in-direct leadership for International plant finance teams Will be involved with various month-end closing activities.
Ensure SOX controls and GAAP are maintained in an effect manner.
