About the role We are looking for a Director or Product Marketing to lead our marketing positioning, messaging, and outbound marketing activities. You will be responsible for presenting our company and our product in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. You should have a keen eye for compelling messaging, a profound understanding of marketing techniques,
and the ability to shape our marketing efforts by working closely with our Product Management and Sales teams. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.
What youll do Collaborate: Coordinate with various internal teams (sales, product, c-suite, data science, engineering, and intelligence) to develop and implement marketing strategies. Strategize: Craft and implement effective product marketing strategies, including product launches, company announcements, partnership launches, pricing, and advertising. Message: Develop captivating messages and positioning for Pendulum’s products and implement this messaging across various
marketing channels, including social media channels, websites, and ad campaigns.
Highlights include: Translate and Tailor: Transform complex product information into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives that resonate with our customer base and broader market. Plan Product Launches: Collaborate with product development and sales teams to determine the most effective launch dates and optimize marketing strategies Represent: Identify key in-person engagements, symposia, conferences, associations, etc. and coordinate a successful Pendulum presence Create: Generate engaging content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts Measure: Evaluate marketing efforts using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers What Youve Done Experience: Proven experience as a Director of Product Marketing or similar role.
Design and Copywriting: A background that includes a strong track record of design and content generation. Market Analysis: Demonstrable experience in market analysis. Marketing Tactics: Familiarity with various product marketing tactics, such as integrated marketing campaigns. Web Analytics: Working knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Web Trends. Communication: Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
