This position effectively oversees a team managing the Point of Sale (POS) production cycle from creative ideation with strategic brand alignment through the development, ordering, manufacturing, procurement and delivery of POS assets to our distributor network.

Key responsibilities include collaboration with internal clients including Brand, Customer and Field Sales, Procurement and Finance; third party vendor and production suppliers; and our national base of distributors. In addition, this role provides subject matter expertise and day-to-day oversight of various Marketing and Sales support system applications used in the ordering

process, coupon support and brand asset management. Core competencies critical to success include collaboration, problem solving, organization, adaptability and leadership.

Trade Marketing Operations : Leads the implementation and ongoing management of certain point-of-sale programming materials for all Trinchero Wine & Spirits brands to ensure short and long-term Trade Marketing objectives are met.

Manages and directs the work of direct reports and multiple vendors in the process refinement, development, production and delivery of Point of Sale marketing materials and tactics, requiring advanced knowledge of POS resources and specifications.

Manages and drives Point of Sale program production, assuring that materials are delivered on time, on-budget and at quality execution. Identifies and communicates potential risks to on time delivery of components. Identifies and assists in the implementation of cost-savings and improvement opportunities to meet annual targets. Facilitates resolution regarding quality issues, including non-conformance validation and credit issuance.

Authorizes final product specifications, gathers and analyzes cost proposals, and selects vendor after thorough negotiations based on most optimal mix of quality, total cost, service, and logistical considerations. Responsible for day-to-day performance and management of multiple Sales and Marketing-related support technology platforms. These include applications across Marketing, Field Sales and the Distributor network such as POS ordering systems, POS asset management center, and coupon ordering. Identify and implement improvements and enhancements across Marketing technology systems to deliver enhanced user experience and cost savings to the organization.

Agency and Vendor Management: Engages with Point-of-Sale creative agencies and manufacturers to design materials that target the retail trade for brand enhancing and consumer awareness programs. This includes direct responsibility of adherence to brand standards. Sales and Regional Marketing Support : Develops and maintains strong relationships with Customer and Field Sales teams to drive effective collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Creative departments to ensure marketing programs and support materials adhere to brand strategy and effectively empower sales to achieve performance goals.

Develop and maintain coupon forecasting model to provide accurate estimates for local and national programs. Oversee relationship with coupon settlement house to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, payment instructions, and fraud prevention. Lead quarterly review of coupon administration between coupon settlement house, Finance, Revenue Management, Trade Marketing and Brand representatives. Develops training and presentation materials and provides onsite or web-based distributor customer user training on various POS customer ordering sites.

Team Leadership : Manages and implements the required training of all Managers and team members and ensures adherence to all policies, procedures and governmental regulations. Manages and implements career planning and personal development of managers and staff. Manages and ensures annual performance reviews are effective and completed on time for managers. Also ensures that managers have completed staffs performance reviews on time. Responsible for the selection of top talent and on the job training for new hires and coaching for top performance.

Qualifications: Education: Degree in business/marketing related field preferred Experience: 5+ years’ experience required, marketing experience preferred especially within the wine industry Strong communication skills, to include the ability to forge relationships across the organization at a variety of levels Strong problem-solving ability including strategic and creative thinking, adaptability, and ability to work well under pressure Excellent written, verbal communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage people including delivering feedback, career coaching and recruiting as needed Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).

Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Ability to manage projects without supervision Experience with project management Working Conditions: Office environment Occasional travel to visit field sales “Best of Both” hybrid schedule: in-office Tues, Wed, Thurs; ability to flex to remote work Monday and Friday as business needs allow Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer May be required to work at any of TFE's locations Frequent deadline pressures Numerous projects in progress at any given time Comply with company safety regulations Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $137,000.00 The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
