considered. Job Summary Purpose: Ensure health and sanitation standards are met, prevent public and internal health issues, and oversee purchasing activities for Levy Restaurants.
Essential Responsibilities: Enforce health and sanitation standards set by Levy Restaurants and local health departments. Communicate and address significant issues promptly with department managers and chefs. Maintain confidentiality on relevant matters. Train staff on health regulations and sanitation requirements. Innovatively contribute to guidelines, operations, and safety improvements. Develop action plans for problem resolution. Work flexible hours, adhere to the company's dress code, and report on time.
Essential Duties: Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility cleanliness and health code compliance. Inspect premises daily for unsanitary practices. Conduct monthly safety inspections of food and beverage storage areas. Supervise workers involved in sanitation programs. Inspect products and equipment for compliance with sanitation laws and Levy standards. Train food handlers and production personnel in sanitary and pest-control procedures. Manage product transfers and requisitions between facilities. Monitor food transportation to service areas.
Plan storage layout based on turnover, size, and weight considerations. Implement a FIRST IN FIRST OUT (FIFO) system. Develop and monitor food safety systems. Complete administrative duties as required. Collaborate with other managers, supervisors and staff to maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation standards. Establish and maintain departmental standards and procedures. Monitor subordinate team members through regular inspections. Maintain a positive work environment and teamwork approach. Possess Serv-Safe & NYC food handler certification optional. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS All mandated Human Resource training.
