This is an hourly position and compensation will be based upon experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance (per manufacturer's recommendations and company policies) to maximize equipment life and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot reported or discovered equipment issues; repair or replace defective parts or requests assistance as needed. Maintains
accurate, timely, and legibly written maintenance and repair orders for facilities and equipment Maintain equipment lists to include equipment specifications, vendor information, drive unit specifications, and all pertinent information related to facilities and equipment Utilize understanding of industry standards and research information to ensure regulatory compliance.
Operate a variety of rolling stock equipment (where applicable). Perform highly skilled maintenance tasks, such as fabrication, cutting, blueprint reading, etc. (where applicable). Follows all OSHA rules and Safety regulations. Responsible for properly and accurately recording all applicable documentation. Other duties
as assigned; including performing general housekeeping and clean-up of all work areas; including sweeping, shoveling, washing, painting.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience Ability to operate various machinery such as skid loader, front end loader, forklift, lawn mower, or other location specific equipment Capability to weld with both a mig and stick welder, along with using a oxy/acetylene torch Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing tasks efficiently and accurately Ability to follow direction and to use logical thought process to interpret oral and written instructions and recommend alternative solutions to mechanical problems.
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, and pounding with hammer Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold, dusty conditions, extreme heights, or confined space for long periods of time. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Ability to remain focused on exceptional customer service, both internally and externally. Able to work extended hours as needed including weekends CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL shortly after hire. 0
