Shipping and Receiving/Backup Driver to the team! Unlike most warehouse positions, this position will work regular business hours of Monday-Friday from 7 am-3:30 pm. What you'll do As a Shipping and Receiving/Backup Driver at Solar Atmospheres of Michigan in Chesterfield, you will handle customer products before and after the heat-treating process, ensuring they are handled with care throughout.
This role will also serve as a backup delivery driver, delivering customer orders or running errands when our current drivers are off or need assistance. Day-to-day you'll: Receive, pull, and pack orders for customers Load and unload trucks as needed Check materials into the computer system to
keep accurate records and inventory Operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, skid loaders, and other material handling tools Collaborate and assist co-workers in the shipping department, delivery drivers, and Furnace Operators Serve as a backup driver when needed to deliver customer orders or run errands using a company Sprinter van Interact with customers professionally and helpfully, assisting in unloading deliveries, and ensuring paperwork needed is complete (when serving as a backup driver) Perform all other duties as assigned What you need to thrive in this role High school diploma Prior shipping/receiving and delivery driving experience, preferred Valid driver's
