department in regards to meeting or exceeding customer requirements Required Education and Experience: Knowledge and experience working in the automotive industry; processes and operations Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role (Production Supervisor) Ability to lead a large team with strong problem solving skills Knowledge and experience working in a robotic welding environment Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations Essential Functions: Responsible for supervising Area Leaders, Operators, and Technicians; to ensure appropriate training, coaching, and discipline is given to ensure high performance of tasks to meet scheduled requirements Identify, record,
and report quality non-conformances and escalate to the Quality Manager.
Prevent further processing, assembly, or delivery or non-conforming product Investigate non-conforming product coming off their shift to troubleshoot issue Develop production planning, communicates responsibilities, establish production time line, and ensure results are achieved for own department Address all quality related problems and provide prompt resolutions and recommendations so as to minimize production interruption Ensure that product identification, traceability, process control, packaging instructions are being followed at all times Analyze downtime to identify and provide resolutions on all problems Minimize costs of operating through proper planning and efficient use of all available resources Participate in internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the quality system Monitor employee attendance; WFN time and attendance system Review end of shift reports for accuracy Abide by all company policies including, but not limited to the following: health and safety, quality and environmental systems, human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O.
