The CNC Machinist is responsible for the safe and effective operation of machining equipment for Boron Nitride products. This position is scheduled Monday to Friday day shift. Key Responsibilities: White working under an experience CNC Machinist: Read and review customer order instructions and blueprint specifications. Operate
manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, band saw, etc. ). Operate with efficient utilization of material and inventory for machined products.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment, problem, and correct when needed. Perform inspections Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records regarding work orders. Basic computer knowledge to utilize MRP system as it relates to machine shop Assure equipment and area are maintained in clean and proper condition for usage. Follow all safety procedures, including wearing of required protective equipment. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequirements: High School diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills required Mechanical aptitude including ability to use basic hand tools and recognize, troubleshoot, and make small mechanical repairs is preferred Must be a team player, self-motivated and dependable Physical requirements: Must be able to physically stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 60 pounds (with or without accommodations).
