To ensure continued improvement is achieved, the Production Supervisor is responsible for driving the WCM-OE system for his shift and their area of responsibility, ensuring Operational Performance Indicators (OPI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are understood, tracked and improved by the operators.

With regard to new products, this role will ensure that the necessary coordination between mechanical operations, operators and R&D are aligned and ready to effectively conduct trials and samples as directed by Production Manager. Essential Functions: Manage the

day-to-day operations to meet Safely, Quality and Throughput targets Maintaining the production schedule Scheduling and assigning of personnel Establishing priorities through; Monitoring progress against schedule and revising as necessary Resolving equipment related issues with maintenance issuesmaterials management, and MRP system management and Provide leadership that creates a culture employee engagement across the site Continuous Improvement: Daily monitoring of WCM-OE loss intelligence systems (OEE, OPI and KPI)Sustain and Improve Visual Management System (5S)Audit and verification of operator adherence to defined process quality controls Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance Ensure

operator employee training is defined and carried out Audit and verification of operator adherence to defined process EHS controls Employee Relations and Development Developing personal growth opportunities and training Communicating job expectations and performancemonitoring and appraising job results, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe Production Supervisor must have a solid background in plant operations. A minimum of 5 years industrial production supervisory experience coupled within proven proficiency in maintenance processes. In addition, incumbent must possess a proficient working knowledge of team-based plant operations (i.

e. coaching, staffing, creating work orders, shift hand offs, plant policy administration). Some experience or specialized training in each of these areas is preferred. This individual must be able to demonstrate superior leadership/managing skills, data analysis, situational leadership skills, and problem solving skills including good written and oral communications and a strong reading comprehension. The work environment is rigorous, and as such requires the incumbent to be able to climb stairs, and ladders.
