needs. Our goal is to provide quality assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and to help them to become as independent as possible. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities.
The successful DSP candidates will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily activities, providing emotional support, and helping them to reach their goals. These DSP positions require compassionate individuals who are patient, understanding, and able to work with a diverse population. Direct Support Professionals must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with individuals
served. Direct Support Professionals assist with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, hygiene, home up-keep, medications, socialization, recreational activities, and learning new skills.
Once you join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll have paid training and orientation sessions to gain skills in areas pertaining to developmental disabilities, medication dispensing, CPR/FA, crisis management, behavior support, documentation, and other job-related topics. The typical shifts for these entry-level positions are either 3pm-11pm or 11pm-9am in our residential programs. These positions are full-time (40 hours per week) and include weekends.
