Technician/General Laborer who will be responsible for (but not limited to) cleaning stainless steel parts, rebuilding and assembling various components creating finished products using tools, machines, and hands according to drawings, work instructions, manuals, and specifications.
They are also responsible for verifying specifications by measuring completed components, testing, conducting in-process inspections according to industry standards and regulations. The perfect candidate for this position has a strong attention to detail, is dependable, and has a strong work ethic. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Looking for someone that is a team player but that is also
able to work independently. As an ISO and AAR Certified company, set guidelines must be followed and all paperwork must be completed as required. This employee will also be responsible for g eneral maintenance and cleaning of the shop, etc.
Hours are 8:00 - 4:30 Monday - Friday Must be able to: Stand for long periods of time; Abide by all safety guidelines and regulations; Lift and move heavy objects. Core Competencies: Detail oriented assuring assemblies are accurate and do not fail testing. Focused for extended periods of time to keep assembly lines moving. Self-motivated at all times. Able to monitor own performance and progress and adjust as required. Accurately read and interpret
engineering drawings and specifications during assembly. Able to use a variety of tools, equipment, machines, and gauges.
Mechanically inclined. Qualifications: High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred. Experience in related industry preferred but not necessary. As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will be responsible for: Repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR Code Testing safety valves with air, water, & steam Reading and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts Understanding of Steam boiler operating and testing Applying measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions Performing
