DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES: Forklift operators perform a variety of job functions. These functions include, put away, pulling
and restocking, truck unloading and servicing the retail will-call desk. The put away driver’s main responsibility is to put away product that has been received.
The “Gladiator” RF scanner will be used for this process. The pulling and restocking driver’s main responsibility is to pull the product identified in the restocking reports and putting the full pallets into the staging areas. The productivity level for put away is 100 cartons per hour and the productivity level for pulling is 60 per hour. Forklift operators will be trained and certified by the forklift certifier prior to operation and are recertified annually. Forklift drivers will perform any of these job functions as workload
demands. LEVEL OF PHYSICAL EXERTION: Level 4 - Continuous walking or standing, pushing or pulling, regular lifting: weights up to 50 pounds.
(Safety harness must be worn at all times when operating the lifts) SKILLS REQUIRED: Physically be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work on your feet all day.
