Panel Builders get
to use their hands and minds to show the art of panel building for our machines, allowing them to directly contribute to the supply line that moves essential goods around the country and the rest of the world.
Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do: As a Panel Builder at Lantech, you will: Work with a team in the production and wiring of electrical enclosures/panels. This includes enclosure/panel machining, component mounting, and panel wiring using a wide range of hand and power tools. Follow standardized work to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Read diagrams and schematics to build panels based on customer specifications. Occasionally support Team Leader to troubleshoot
and diagnose electrical quality issues. Stand 9 hours a day. What are We Looking For?
(Requirements) We are looking for someone who: Has proven experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting. Is able to read electrical schematics. Is focused on work with a high commitment to achieving quality and scheduling goals. Possesses strong electrical knowledge and has good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Is a responsible individual, a self-starter, and able to work independently. Is able to self-identify problems and support problem solving / solutions Is detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality, and safety and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Has sustained a record of good attendance. Has a high aptitude for working with situations of a manufacturing nature, effective use of time, and is capable of adapting to a varied work environment. Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers. Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Is willing and able to work overtime to complete projects and/or meet scheduling deadlines. Is customer focused on a strong commitment to quality and production schedule.
Is legally authorized to work in the U. S. Education & Experience: At least two years of experience with electrical assembly/panel wiring and/or with electrical troubleshooting/diagnostics. Mechanical background is a plus. Previous experience with hand tools is required. Understanding schematics, blueprints, and diagrams are a plus.
