purpose of the Purchasing Clerk is verifying correct information on Purchase orders and receiving's in computer systems. Insure 3-way match on invoices. Strong analytical and accounting skills are needed for this tast. Maintaining an accurate inventor and relaying accurate cost to accounting, maintain files, ype other correspondence as needed.

Serves as a back up to the Supply Supervisor and Supply Clerk. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Data entry of receiving and issues. Perform inventory cycle counts. Help to maintain accurate inventory. Maintain all files accurately. Fill in for Supply Supervisor or Parts Clerks in their absences for all shifts. Monitor and resolve

blocked invoice issues. Work to achieve goals on blocked invoice and ATF scoreboards. Maintain files, purchase orders, receiving's, cycle count and project files.

Work with Project Manager, help with requisitions, receiving's, invoices and whatever other information may be requested. General housekeeping in working area to help maintain a safe work environment. Other tasks as assigned by management. Minimum Education High School or equivalent Experience Requirements 2-4 years of related experience. Strong reading, math, communication, writing and analytical skills required. Experience Preferred Prefer 2-4 years of related experience. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Position

is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment inside production facility. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
