Job Summary: As a buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services essential for the organization's operations. You will be responsible for researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms.

Job Responsibilities & Duties: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve
optimal agreements. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and gather information on products or services. Begin to effectively utilize the merchandising systems and understand warehouse process.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of order details, including quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines. P rovide administrative assistance to the buying team. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Work closely with the team to avoid stockouts and excess inventory situations. Address and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and supplier
performance. Escalate issues to higher-level buyers or management when necessary.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and product availability.
